I will try and keep this as brief as possible, but I wanted to ask something about this playlist. Several of the jobs are set to GTA Races with special rules imposed, such as the Vintage Motorcycle Track, where you can use the melee on bike weapons, or, more relevant in this case... the final job from last nights event which was a BMX race with stunt pieces.
Last night I had some bad experiences in many of these jobs, due to the fact that people decide to get off their vehicle, and take out their Minigun / Rocket Launcher and decide not to partake in the actual job whatsoever and just blow up as many people as they can.
Maybe this is accepted, I'm not sure, hence the post, but to me this is just not fun at all. The last race last night was specifically a BMX race, with boost pads and tricky sections. I got stuck on a wall and then was killed by rocket launcher several times by someone with "Loki" in their name who got off their bike and just spawned killed me with rocket launcher, I was in the top 5 position and this completely ruined my race, leading to me rage quitting. I messaged him asking to kindly fuck off, so I could actually complete the race, and he must have reported me to Xbox, because I now have a 48 hour enforcement on my account for "communication" - Very childish IMO
There were others also using minigun / rocket launcher in this and other jobs too.
The Utility Chicken race is covered in rocket pickups which you could use and still participate in the race and blow people up! but people don't seem to want to do that, they prefer to just stand at the respawn point and spawn kill everyone with OP weapons. You spawn in, and are instantly shredded by a minigun over and over again.
I don't see the point in this, why can't people just play the job as it is intended, could we not make sure weapons are set to pickups only in GTA races? Or is it OK to just spawn kill people who want to play the actual job?
Also, does anyone know who these people are like Loki and others, or are they friends of friends that have gotten into the playlist and have no intention of following rules? Maybe we need to be more careful who joins these playlists?
Don't want to sound too angry about this, but has been happening for a few weeks now, and some long time players who I would expect better from that I have also seen turning into Mingun warriors.
Main points: GTA races should be pickups only OR more care taken with randoms joining. Thoughts ?? (and thx for reading!)
