(PC) Weekly [MAIN] & [GCCC] Cross-Crew Content Creators Event Recap - 10/02/2017(Note: There won't be any videos made for jobs that were previously recorded and published) (P.S. Sorry about not rendering the videos in 4K resolution, as I envisioned, as It takes ages for my PC to render them. Anyway, I'm sure that 1440p will work just fine. Link for 4K test video.)
Thanks to everyone who joined! Next event will take place on Friday (February 17th). There is no set start time for this event. More details below.
If you intend to join, then feel free to post your submissions down below, but please don't forget to include the preferred/recommended settings.
And, If you're unsure about something, please refer to the opening post of this thread, which contains all information.
Details Regarding Actual Start Time of This Event I'm fairly certain that some of you have heard about a YouTube Content Creator and Live Streamer by the name of Gtamen ➤ (YouTube channel, Twitch channel, Twitter page). Every other Friday starting at 7:00pm GMT he's live-streaming a (PS4 & PC) 'Creator Showcase' event, which basically embodies the same concept as we have here with our weekly (PC) 'Creators Event'. People send him their created jobs and he tests and showcases them in front of a live audience through his Twitch channel, starting on PS4 as it’s his primary platform, and once he's done with all submissions there, then he switches over to PC - which is usually by the time when I’m starting or when my event is underway (at around 9:00pm GMT). At first we'll join the PC portion of his event, and afterwards we'll proceed as per usual with my event.
(For some reference, here I'm including his previous 'GTA Online Creator Showcase Ep. 1' Highlights Video)
Thanks to suggestion from KangeeRedwood, I reached out to him via Twitter asking if he would be interested in collaboration, seeing as we both host PC events at around the same time. And he agreed to give it a try this upcoming Friday (February 17th). So, depending on how it turns out, this might become a more regular occurrence.
Here's the breakdown of what to expect, if you plan to attend:
- It would be recommended to stay tuned into Gtamen's Twitch.tv live-stream which is scheduled to start on Friday (February 17th) at 7:00pm GMT. As mentioned earlier, he will be starting the event & live-stream on PS4 as it’s his primary platform, and once he's done with all submissions there, then he will switch over to PC. Which essentially means that, we'll have to watch the live-stream to keep up with him and know when exactly he switches over to PC, so that we could join him.
- Alright, he's on PC. What now? At this point, it's expected that he will start the playlist at any minute. It's suggested that right after he finishes up with PS4 jobs, you should already have your game up-and-running. Once I'll be able to join his playlist - expect a game invite from me (VIII_Leo_IIIV) to his PC portion of the event/broadcast. As usual, I'll send out invites via 'Friends' as well personal game invites to all my friends and crew members who are online through R* Social Club launcher. If you won't be able to join in time, try joining my game session anyway, since you should be able to join through 'Spectating'.
- At first, we will join and show support by bringing in more active players into Gtamen's 'Creator Showcase' event. That way he will be able to have more players in his stream, and have a more vibrant and more interesting show for his audience.
- Right afterwards he goes through all the jobs in his event, then I'll start-up our 'Creators Event' playlist. That way, we can hopefully pull in some of the players from Gtamen's event, which will overall would increase the attendance level of our event.
A simple request:
- So far, I couldn't ask for more from the regulars of my event, as far as online etiquette in games is concerned. You guys always been very supportive and positive throughout the whole thing, and all I ask is to show the same attitude, support and mindfulness to Gtamen and what he has been doing for other content creators and his audience for such a long time.

(PC) Weekly [MAIN] & [GCCC] Cross-Crew Content Creators Event Recap - 17/02/2017Note: There won't be any videos made for jobs that were previously recorded and published.
Thanks to everyone who attended & contributed to make this week's event the most attended one with over 20 players! It's our new record high. Thanks to all who made it possible.
I also want to pay respects and give deserved props to Gtamen, UMADBRO_OKAY, and HiBerg for all their assistance behind the scenes! Thank you all so much for your help. It's definitely appreciated.
Personally, despite minor inconveniences, I'm quite happy with what all of us managed to achieve by working together. I mean there were obvious negatives like certain players being there for wrong reasons, players that happened to think that it's a dedicated casual racing playlist and not a showcase/display of custom created jobs, like the title of the playlist states, and so on... However, despite all that, I'm quite interested to know the feedback from the attendees/regulars of this event: - Did you enjoy the overall atmosphere? Let me know what did you like or did not like, is there any ideas/suggestions you would like to give?
- To preserve the idea of 'Quality over Quantity', would you like to see me continuing working alongside Gtamen, or should we split our paths and with each of us working separately on bi-weekly basis?
- To address the matter of 'certain players being there for wrong reasons' - Would you like to see me enforce more strict rules? Suggestions welcome.
- Lastly: Is this what you guys wanted? Or do you prefer keeping more of a ''low populated personal'' approach? Because as you've seen it first hand... it turns out its quiet different with people smashing each other and calling "fa*s". As it stands now, if we decide to go 'BIG', then we can't be picky with who we allow/disallow to join this event. I mean of course, there will always be a couple of over-excited-immature-bad apples here and there, but apart from that the rest of the people seem mature enough. As mentioned, to get rid of this problem, I could make this event more reserved/private to the people I know are OK, or someone has vouched for them.
Apart from that... I'ts up to you guys - Let me know your comments/critiques down below and let's discuss this.
As always, next event will take place on Friday (February 24th) at 9:00pm GMT / 4:00pm EST / 10:00pm CET.
If you intend to join, then feel free to post your submissions down below, but please don't forget to include the preferred/recommended settings. And, If you're unsure about something, please refer to the opening post of this thread, which contains all information.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS/MEMO TO MYSELF:Thanks to feedback from the attendees of our previous event with @gtamen , I'm going to introduce a couple of new special rules that will only apply when we have Gtamen and his friends in attendance. 1 - Since you can't always rely on every single attendee to be on point with kicking the randoms/disruptive players + 'GTA Online's Broken Kicking System' that is currently in place, from now on all submitted creations will be hosted one-by-one. There won't be any playlists. I admit that it's not a popular choice to make, but since my responsibility as the host is to ensure that every single attendee has an enjoyable experience without worrying about disruptive players ruining the atmosphere - I believe that that's more important, be it at the cost of numbers. This way, I will be able to kick someone immediately right before starting each job. To explain... For those that don't know - you can't kick people once the playlist has started. And even if everyone would kick someone within a second (once a job is started - which is not an easy thing to do, considering the more people there are - the more votes are required thus making it even more difficult), there's always will be a danger that 'that guy' might re-join by simply joining his friends' session. 2 - Right before starting the first job of the event - I will briefly remind everyone (via in-game text chat) the purpose of this event and how we expect all attendees to behave. I will also ask Gtamen to do the same, since his friends who may join this event will probably be more focused on the live-stream rather than paying attention to what host has to say. 3 - Contact racing vs. Non-Contact Racing debacle. From now on, by default, (once again, to ensure that every single attendee has a fun and enjoyable experience), if we host a race and there's exactly or under 12 players - then we will run the job with contact (exception: if the submitter requests the race to be hosted in Non-Contact - we'll run it as requested). If there will be over 12 players - then we will play the race with Non-Contact, regardless of how submitter requests it to be played. Reasons: latency issues, skill gaps, not being familiar with the tracks, etc... 4 - EddieLTU - Suspended on temporary basis for two weeks from being able to attend our crew's Creators Event, due to being disruptive in-game and in-game chat towards the host & other attendees during our previous event which happened 17th of February. Repeated offences will result in suspension being doubled. 5 - As stated in the rules of this event: Voting on jobs is either Thumbs Up or No voting. Giving Thumbs down is unnecessary and rather considered disrespectful towards the creator, (since he's sitting in the same lobby). If you have comments on the job on something you did not like, then just give feedback verbally to the Creator, instead of using the voting button. I will keep track of players who continuously dislike jobs, and once that 'special someone' accumulates 3 dislikes - gets automatically suspended for one week from being able to attend our crew's Creators Event. Repeated offences will result in suspension being doubled.

I'd like to join in. Friday 3 March 2017 at 7pm added to my calendar with 1 hour reminder. I sent an SC request to join MAIN. My jobs were all made on PS3 and are 16 players maximum. Once I re-publish and thoroughly test 30 players I might send one or two in. GCCC is a crew I helped establish with its original founders, BusterGoody and KungFuVIP. Eventually got pushed out of essentially my own crew by toxic newcomers and their playground politics. Don't worry, though, I'll keep a low profile during the event! EDIT: Could you add Steam to the Social links in our profile, please?

In regards with the event - I reserved you a spot. Feel free to take your time with job submissions, it's not like we're in a rush or anything, just don't forget to notify me by Friday. Regarding the your request to add 'Steam to the Social links in our profile' - I don't have that much knowledge and experience with coding so I'm not sure how to set it up on this forum. I think I'll need a plug-in for that to work. Perhaps if you could briefly instruct me in private on how to set it up, then I would be able to help you.
Hi. I've reserved you a spot as well, and included your submission in the opening post. Thanks for deciding to join us.

Just a friendly reminder to all who intend to join tonight's event:(References: Detailed Event Information: (Agenda/Rules/Submitted Jobs & Confirmed Participant List); Details Regarding Actual Start Time of This Event);
Key Points:- Event Purpose & Ethos: This main purpose of this event is essentially focused on bringing the members of PC content creator community together and simply playing/testing each other's creations so that we could help one-another to improve on certain things and to become better creators ourselves. The general atmosphere of this event shouldn't be about being super serious and competitive, since the main idea behind this weekly event is to simply play and showcase each-others creations and enjoying the view & experience the creator brings within them.
- This week's event will start tonight - Friday (March 3rd) roughly at around 9:30pm GMT - Right after Gtamen will be done with the PS4 and PC parts of his 'Content Creator Showcase Event' which will begin at 7:00pm GMT and will be broadcasted live at: twitch.tv/gtamen
- I will be hosting a closed friends-only free-mode session starting at around 8:30pm GMT. Obviously you don't have to, but if you wish so - you can join up and hang around until Gtamen gets on PC.
- Once Gtamen gets online on PC, starts-up his playlist and invites me - then as per usual, I'll send out game invites through the in-game phone via 'Friends', as well personal game invites to all my friends and crew members who are online through R* Social Club launcher. If you won't be able to join in time, try joining my game session anyway, since you should be able to join through 'Spectating'.
- Important! Afterwards we finish the last job in Gtamen's playlist, I will start up this event. Please remember that (as explained previously here) this event will no longer make use of a playlist. All jobs will be hosted separately in order (starting with the ones that got submitted first and finishing with the ones that got submitted last), one-by-one.
- To save time, when it comes to waiting for participants to re-join the next job (and in-general) - it's advised that right after completion of a previous job you should select 'Freemode' option. That way, all players from previous job should be placed into a single free-roam session, which in turn will minimise the time required to someone to re-join and not get stuck in the clouds. To be fair, I'm not entirely sure if it will work - but, let's try anyway. (Reference image below).
(Reference image).
- As announced recently, we have 2 new rules in place which are set-in place to punish the disruptive players:
- Voting on jobs is either Thumbs Up or No voting. Giving Thumbs down is unnecessary and rather considered disrespectful towards the creator, (since he's sitting in the same lobby). If you have comments on the job on something you did not like, then just give feedback verbally to the Creator, instead of using the voting button. I will keep track of players who continuously dislike jobs, and once that 'special someone' accumulates 3 dislikes - gets temporary banned from currently on-going event, plus automatically suspended for one week from being able to attend our crew's Creators Event. Repeated offences will result in suspension being doubled.
- Players who are being disruptive in-game and in-game text or voice chat towards the host & other attendees will get temporary banned from currently on-going event, plus suspended on temporary basis for two weeks from being able to attend our crew's Creators Event. Repeated offences will result in suspension being doubled.

A lot of stuff played. First list was nearly all stunt races and chaos races. Second was somewhat more conventional races but lots of stunt prop use or deliberately wrong CP placement.
Is that what these will tend to be like, do you think? Was nice to be part of an event and I might look for more which are my cup of tea.
Combat works great with a mouse; Captures were always the job type I most admired but struggled to play with gamepad.

@ben - Most races that people create do use the stunt pieces now, I would say you get "proper" GP style races more often than actual stunt tracks, but the stunt props work very well for GP type of race. I think the wrong checkpoint thing you mentioned was probably the off-road race? That was a new experience for me too, but most races are designed to look like a proper grand prix type race. Every week is different jobs though and there is always going to be something you will like in there !
@leo - the private lobby and then going back to freemode works very well, and seems to load very quickly. I think it will help people with rejoining after disconnections too

If you intend to join, then feel free to post your submissions down below, but please don't forget to include the preferred/recommended settings. And, If you're unsure about something, please refer to the opening post of this thread, which contains all information.
P.S: I've updated the opening post of this thread with some new important information. It's recommended to read through it!

Feel free to submit something some of your jobs in the future as well. To answer your question: It can be a bit of a mixed bag depending on the submissions. I can't speak on behalf of Gtamen, but I personally test my submissions in advance just in case. Since I also record the gameplay, it pays to be more prepared. Since the launch of the Stunt Race Creator (August 2, 2016), various variations of competitive (GP) circuits and Stunt Races are the most trending jobs at the moment. So there's no surprise why the majority of submissions are races. Plus as announced here by R★ themselves, expect to see even more since now race creators will be able to create ' Special Vehicle Circuits'. I wish there was more diversity to keep the event more dynamic, but since people like cars/racing so much - there's not that much I can do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I also think that, as long as everyone has their aiming preferences set to 'Free Aim' then all participants should be placed into a empty session.

Hi, I'm new here (although not new to other crews like NoDo etc.) I'd like to attend this weeks friday GCCC event. If you still need jobs, this is one of mine: SpeedRunner V2.0.1 rsg.ms/85710f9 - a fast, wide city track. Sports, Supers, Muscle, Sports Classic Another track I really like is deafplayer's F1 Hockingmeinring V2 www.gtaracing.net/t/79/ (linky is a shameless self promotion of my little pet project where you can find nice tracks made by various great people) Hope to see you all on friday. BTW: Is there a teamspeak server or do we use in-game voice chat? (Could not find anything after a quick search in the forum)

BTW: Is there a teamspeak server or do we use in-game voice chat? (Could not find anything after a quick search in the forum) Hi abecede. Welcome to our forum and thanks for signing up! I've put you down as a confirmed participant, and added both of your submissions in the opening post. Please take a look to see if you're fine with the settings/conditions under which your submissions will be played on. And in regards with the voice chat: At the moment and as far as I'm aware, since most of our regulars prefer to communicate mainly via in-game text chat instead of speaking through mics, we don't feel the necessity to talk via voice chat. I guess people enjoy listening to music in background or something, which is fine too. Whatever the case, I assure you that with the recently imposed new rules we very rarely run into issues during these events. And if something happens, people just 'know' that someone who screwed with others will not get away with whatever they pulled. Off-TopicHowever, since I'm curious as well, this also brings up a question that I would like to ask the regular participants: pressuredrop, couragewolfthe1st, BenMillardI recently got suggested to look into Discord (more-or-less same as TeamSpeak, but free) - a VoIP Communications Client which would be ideal for us PC players to talk to each other. So, here's the question of the day: Do you guys prefer to keep things as is with continuing using in-game text chat as our primary source of communication, or would you actually prefer to talk and interact with others via a voice communication client? Let me know your thoughts down below!

I usually prefer text chat, as my headset is plugged into my music recording PC upstairs, and can be a bit awkward to pull out the amp to get to the cable. I gave up using one on Xbox, as random people become muted all the time, or nobody can hear you after each job, but that might not happen with the PC version, so the standard game chat might work OK.
I will submit something for the event eventually, but my PC account is quite far behind the Xbox when it comes to created stuff. I haven't had the time yet to recreate my main jobs on PC, or create a new one, but I will hopefully get round to it!

Important Update: From now on, all attendees/participants of this weekly event must be on TeamSpeak in order to become invited into the event!
It's suggested to be in the certain TeamSpeak channel (details to follow), at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled event start time to secure your place. As per usual, a 'Freeroam' lobby will be arranged before scheduled start time to accommodate this.
And just to clarify: It's not necessary to have a microphone. However, you must be able to hear others speak. Keep in mind that, failure to follow instructions may result in applied warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent ban depending on the severity of caused offence, all of which will be judged up to host's discretion.
And just in general - don't be shy, you're among friends here. Plus, it would be more convenient, since this way everyone will be on the same page and will understand what's happening (e.g: how a certain job is played, etc...) and I'm certain this will enable us to play those jobs which require communication and team effort (which are usually excluded from this event).
Details regarding TeamSpeak:What is TeamSpeak? - free and easy-to-use VoIP communication software client. TeamSpeak offers the ideal tool for online gaming, as one of the most used communication clients within PC gaming community.More info at: www.teamspeak.com/teamspeak3.html. Download at: www.teamspeak.com/downloads.html#client.- TeamSpeak Server: mainteamspeak.servegame.com:9311
- TeamSpeak Server Password: main
- Teamspeak Channel: Once you joined the server, by default you will be placed into a 'The Lobby' channel. From there, you'll need to move to the 'Event Waiting Channel' channel and wait there, until the host moves everyone into the 'Event Channel' channel right before the scheduled start time of the event.
- Your TeamSpeak Client Name: You must sign into TeamSpeak, by using your Rockstar Games Social Club Nickname. If you don't, you will not be moved into the event!
