Presents
Weekly event starting every Friday at 4:00pm EST / 9:00pm GMT / 10:00pm CET on PC platform▶▶▶ Click Here for more info. regarding the actual start time of this Friday's event! ◀◀◀ (Do not open the Spolier. Reserved for Future Use).
The Basics
- Dates & Times: This event is held on weekly basis, starting on Fridays usually at 4:00pm EST / 9:00pm GMT / 10:00pm CET with a pre-lobby being held about 15 minutes before launching the playlist.
- Event Duration: Mostly depends on the total amount of submitted jobs, but usually each event ends within 90 minutes.
- Concept: If you wish, submit your or someone else's jobs here in this thread (3 max.) and I'll confirm your attendance, enlist the the submissions in this post and have everything organised & prepared come Friday. Our crew is creating a lot of quality content, and we know how difficult is it to arrange your jobs played by others (especially to be played with a lot of players), receive some feedback for improvement, etc. We are also big fans of other user-created content but only the quality jobs which sometimes are difficult to find. Therefore we want to test the best of your creations and enjoy them!
- Event Purpose & Ethos: This main purpose of this event is essentially focused on bringing the members of PC content creator community together and simply playing/testing each other's creations so that we could help one-another to improve on certain things and to become better creators ourselves. The general atmosphere of this event shouldn't be about being super serious and competitive, since the main idea behind this weekly event is to simply play and showcase each-others creations and enjoying the view & experience the creator brings within them. In the end, we're all in this together just to simply to have a good time, without worrying about immature/disruptive players and trolls.
TeamSpeak - All attendees/participants of this weekly event must be on TeamSpeak in order to become invited into the event!
It's suggested to be in the certain TeamSpeak channel (details to follow), at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled event start time to secure your place. As per usual, a 'Freeroam' lobby will be arranged before scheduled start time to accommodate this.
And just to clarify: It's not necessary to have a microphone. However, you must be able to hear others speak. Keep in mind that, failure to follow instructions may result in applied warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent ban depending on the severity of caused offence, all of which will be judged up to host's discretion.
And just in general - don't be shy, you're among friends here. Plus, it would be more convenient, since this way everyone will be on the same page and will understand what's happening (e.g: how a certain job is played), etc... Details regarding TeamSpeakWhat is TeamSpeak? - free and easy-to-use VoIP communication software client. TeamSpeak offers the ideal tool for online gaming, as one of the most used communication clients within PC gaming community.More info at: www.teamspeak.com/teamspeak3.html. Download at: www.teamspeak.com/downloads.html#client.- TeamSpeak Server: mainteamspeak.servegame.com:9311
- TeamSpeak Server Password: main
- Teamspeak Channel: Once you joined the server, by default you will be placed into a 'The Lobby' channel. From there, you'll need to move to the 'Event Waiting Channel' channel and wait there, until the host moves everyone into the 'Event Channel' channel right before the scheduled start time of the event.
- Your TeamSpeak Client Name: You must sign into TeamSpeak, by using your Rockstar Games Social Club Nickname. If you don't, you will not be moved into the event!
General Rules
- The main requirement is that if you want your job to be included - you must participate in the event.
- Voting on jobs is either Thumbs Up or No voting. Giving Thumbs down is unnecessary and rather considered disrespectful towards the creator, (since he's sitting in the same lobby). If you have comments on the job on something you did not like, then just give feedback verbally to the Creator, instead of using the voting button. I will keep track of players who continuously dislike jobs, and once that 'special someone' accumulates 3 dislikes - gets temporary banned from currently on-going event, plus automatically suspended for 1 week from being able to attend our crew's Creators Event. Repeated offences will result in suspension being doubled.
- Players who are being disruptive in-game or/both in-game text or voice chat towards the host & other attendees will get temporary banned from currently on-going event, plus suspended on temporary basis for 2 weeks from being able to attend our crew's Creators Event. Repeated offences will result in suspension being doubled.
- Important! | Part 1 - Since you can't always rely on every single attendee to be on point with kicking the randoms/disruptive players + 'GTA Online's Broken Kicking System' that is currently in place, all submitted jobs will be hosted one-by-one. There won't be any playlists. Since my responsibility as the host is to ensure that every single attendee has an enjoyable experience without worrying about disruptive players ruining the atmosphere - I believe that that's more important, be it at the cost of numbers. This way, If need be, I will be able to kick someone immediately right before starting each job. Read Part 2 below!
- Important! | Part 2 - To save time, when it comes to waiting for participants to re-join the next job (and in-general) - it's advised that right after completion of a previous job you should select 'Freemode' option in the job selection screen. That way, all players from previous job will be placed into a single free-roam session (all long as, by default they have their aim preference set to 'Free Aim'), which in turn will minimise the time required to someone to re-join and not get stuck in the clouds.
- If you accidentally hit somebody or spin someone out in contact races, you must wait for that person to get back on track and keep your position behind him/her. That way, hitting someone also punishes yourself.
- If we have a race and there's exactly or under 12 players - we'll race it as a (GTA Race or Standard). Exception: If the submitter specifically requests his submitted race hosted as a Non-Contact race, then we'll race it as requested. However, if we have more than 12 players, then we'll run it with a non-contact option regardless. Reasons: latency issues (lag), skill gaps, not being familiar with the race, etc... Also, remember generally use of weapons and explosives in GTA Races is forbidden; however depending if the idea behind the job is based on killing opponents - then feel free to engage.
- The number of jobs per creator - maximum 3. If you have less, it is OK, the most important thing is quality, not quantity.
- You can also attend as a tester, without submitting any jobs, (I still guarantee you will have lots of fun).
- The event is hosted in Free-Aim setting, (to join easier, make sure you change your aiming setting to Free-Aim in Story mode, prior to joining the event).
- Each creator will have a chance to present his job to the others and give some tips prior to starting the job. Each creator can select the job settings, just have in mind that it's recommended to run Deathmatches with a 10-minute limit, races with reduced number laps to fit similar time-frame per job.
- We encourage constructive feedback from all participants during/after the session, in order to give valuable input to the creator/host for further improvement of their creations, etc...
- To prevent any problems with the job settings - make sure you correct your default job setting to the desired prior to the event (e.g. a 10-minute time limit, Normal DM or TDM, lap count, etc.).
- You're more than welcome to submit a job created by someone else.
- All info. including the confirmed participants, and submitted jobs will be tracked, tested and published in the opening post of this thread before each Friday.
How to Sign-Up/Join?
- This event is open to all who wish to join, regardless of what crew you're from.
- If you're not a friend already, send a friend request to the event host with a message stating: 'Hi, sign me up for the Creators Event, please.', or something along those lines.
- Keep in mind that It's not necessary to formally sign-up in advance every single week to participate, but if you would like to reserve a spot anyway - PM the host or leave a reply below in this thread. In general, as long as you have the host added as a friend on R★ Social Club, it's enough to join his session around the scheduled start time to participate.
- If you intend to submit a job, leave a reply below here with the Social Club links to the jobs you want to submit along with leaving a mention with your desired settings on each job, (e.g. 10-minute time limit, Normal DM or TDM, lap count, etc.). Do note, that by default, each creator has 30 minutes of hosting time, and the management of time ratio and specific settings between jobs is entirely up to creator/participant, only if the host has been notified prior and aware. However, once there are more than 4 creators then hosting time will decrease accordingly to 20 or 15 minutes to accommodate all creators' time.
- On the night of the event, before joining the host's session it's advised to go to Story mode and make sure you change your aiming setting to Free-Aim. And, as explained here, be on TeamSpeak in order to become invited into the event!
- To join the event, about 15 minutes before the event starts press 'Start' → 'Friends' → scroll until you find the event host → click on host's nickname and press 'Join Game' → Keep pressing "Yes" on confirmation screens. That way it will be more convenient to gather up together before the event starts and it will be much easier for participants to promptly receive and accept the invite to the first job from the same session via the in-game phone. If you were unable to join the host's session for some reason, notify the host by sending a PM via R★ Social Club and keep an eye on for the in-game phone invite or a regular game invite.

Welcome LeoI will participate with pleasure *One clarification: I still have a problem with my graphics card (20-25 Fps) and will surely DNF in the races. I'll try not to be an obstacle on the track Later I will offer my jobs. But they are for 16 players - should I edit for 30 players? SACH

It's great to have you back Leo! This friday is maybe the last day this year I can come online on time, so I would like to participate as well =) I'll also submit 3 jobs later, when I know if I can finish the job I'm working on right now on time.

Hey SACHMATA, thanks! I don't think we'll have more than 16 players next Friday, so just leave it as it is. Hey teltow, thanks as well! =) No worries, your spot is reserved. Btw, maybe I can move the event start time to accommodate you better? If so, let me know, and I'll consider it. Feel free to take your time with job submissions, it's not like we're in a rush or anything, just don't forget to notify me by Friday. Even I haven't submitted anything yet. LOL To conclude, I would like to WELCOME and thank all of you for taking your time to sign-up on this forum. I think you understood where I was coming from when I said that there's too much unnecessary work. It was not a popular decision to make, but I'm positive that long-term it will be worth it and more efficient. Stay Malicious guys!

If I remember correctly, you seemed to always participate in the previous events, but joined an hour or so later. I thought that maybe I could help out with that, seeing that you were one of the regulars.

OK then. If I remember correctly, you seemed to always participate in the previous events, but joined an hour or so later. I thought that maybe I could help out with that, seeing that you were one of the regulars. Yeah, I like the events but my online times vary. Normally I can't tell if I'm able to be online on a specific time. Be it 10pm or 11pm UTC. But I appreciate your offer very much! Apart from that it doesn't seem right to me to adjust the event times for my sake. Anyway, here are my jobs: 1. Warp 102. #1 LS Stunt Grand Prix3. #2 LS Stunt GP - BulletAll three are stunt races. They seem to be long, but all have around 4 minutes lap times. Two laps each, slipstream and catchup off.

Sorry Leo, my mistake, I prefer my races played as standard races (contact races). I'm okay with the non-contact setting though. Might be less frustrating =) Btw, LSIA Speed Trial is a rather short race, it might be even more fun if set to 7 (or more) laps instaed of 3. I'm not a good driver and have 1.15 lap times on it iirc, so it would be over in only three+ minutes with the 3 laps setting.

I will try to record the event, just to get back into the swing of things. Try to be on about 15 min or so early, we will have a free-mode car meet outside of The Richman Hotel before the playlist. See you all soon.

Thanks for joining! It was a pleasure to host this fun playlist and I hope you still had fun despite some connection issues.
P.S. My Feedback. From what I learned from tonight's event is that I should take note of certain moments of the event which didn't go too well and come up with a solution so that going forward the overall quality of the event would incrementally improve. So, here are my ideas and solutions from tonight's event: Suggestion No. 1: It was brought up by UMADBRO_OKAY . And from what I understood, basically, what he stated is, that we should consider hosting submitted stunt races which are mainly not as serious and perhaps include a cluster of ramps / mid-air platforms / tubes / wall-rides / etc... in a non-contact setting. And leaving the contact option for the more common race tracks and GP'd Stunt Races designed in a way more or less seriously suited for competitive action. My thoughts: Personally, I'm up for it. Most of these Stunt Races can be quite tricky and difficult at times. And when you race with some people who never drove on these tracks before, it's usually not too long 'till they start causing unnecessary contact which is likely to upset some people. Besides, most of these Stunt Races shouldn't be taken as seriously and competitive, especially the ones that have a dozen of ramps / crossovers / loops / tubes / wall-rides, etc... since they scream "HAVE FUN!". Examples from today's playlist: Warp 10, [HASH]1 LS Stunt Grand Prix, #2 LS Stunt GP - Bullet, and of course # Tubeland. Contrary to "fun" stunt races described above, the regular race tracks / GP'd Stunt Races offer more competitiveness and are more fun to race with contact conditions, as it to some degree, simulates real experience and allows more Motorsport savvy player to apply his race craft knowledge & practices on any given track, of course, as long as the other players are not lagging and during battles don't have "tunnel vision" & when attempting maneuvers give you room for you not to crash. Examples from today's playlist: PACIFIC BLUFFS [GP], DEEP PURPLE [GP], PURE WHITE, Akina streets, LSIA Speed Trial. Solution to Suggestion No. 1: Races which include (tubes, wall-rides, etc.) will be hosted in a non-contact setting. Meanwhile, the regular common race tracks and GP'd Stunt Races designed in a way more or less seriously suited for competitive action will be mostly hosted with contact, of course depending on individual circumstances of the track which will be decided under my discretion, after I tested the submitted track. Suggestion No. 2: Mostly related to connectivity. My thoughts: It was obvious that R* servers played a big role in tonight's connection issues. And as a host, I'm sorry that some of you had to leave the playlist mid-way due to this reason. There's nothing we can do with connection problems. However, when after every completed job or when someone lags out, all you do is wait for 5 - 10 minutes for that someone to rejoin that's pretty annoying to all involved. I'm very sorry and I don't want to sound rude like this, SACHMATA , but your connection issues were too obvious. Most of us are aware that you have connection difficulties and once something happened with you, we all patiently waited for you to rejoin. However, some people were not as patient and went to do something else with their time. Trust me, I know what it feels like when you're the one holding up the lobby and spend all your time in clouds hoping that you'll be able to join. And it sucks! I'm actually amazed that you despite playing with 20 FPS (which is a slideshow at this point) + Lag, still continue to show positive enthusiasm and try joining every event. All I want to say is this: please, going forward, out of respect for all people's time who will be taking part in future events, take some measures to improve your connection, and your GPU. Thanks! Solution to Suggestion No. 2: Here's a " Fixing Lag issues/Connection Timeouts" thread on GTA Forums which will, hopefully, become a helpful guide for those who struggle with connection issues. And according to Grand Theft Auto V PC System Specs support ticket, the video card which would meet minimum requirements for GTA 5 that should work well enough, would be NVIDIA 9800 GT 1GB or AMD HD 4870 1GB which are not that pricey. In general, do note, that, It's every participants' own responsibility to restart their modems/routers before every event.

Good Job Leo! What a nice service! Thank you for all your efforts! Most of these Stunt Races can be quite tricky and difficult at times. And when you race with some people who never drove on these tracks before, it's usually not too long 'till they start causing unnecessary contact which is likely to upset some people. That's true, many stunt races are in fact quite tricky and difficult. I still like to see my stunt races as rather easy =) Maybe not so much if you drive them the first time or just once at all, but they are not too difficult. I don't advertise them much and therefore don't drive them often with other players, but once I drove one of it with a friend and managed to overtake him on a wallride =) which I build extra large. That was nice. Not the same thing with a non-contact setting though. I think I see stunt races as fun-but-still-competitive-races. I know serious racers don't and many even look down to stunt races and consider them stupid. But most people who take part in a stunt race want to win it nevertheless, even if they scream FUN RACE. So, as far as I see it, there's some competitiveness in stunt races too. And, unnecessary contact is upseting many people in regular races too. This can't be an argument against contact stunt races =) My conclusion is, it's not written in stone, that stunt races should be all non-contact races. It depends... That said, I have no problem with it, if people prefer to drive my races as non-contact races or with the non-contact setting at all. It's relaxing every once in a while.

You're welcome teltow . Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it! I wish that regular participants would show more interest in this thread and left some feedback after every event, like what they liked/disliked or just leave some general suggestions or tips for the creator/host to improve on. About the stunt races - I'm sticking to my initial thoughts. I do understand where are you coming from with your reply and I respect your opinion. However, I hope you guys understand that with the decisions I make as a host of this event, sometimes I won't be able to please everyone. Everyone is different and has different preferences or ways they enjoy playing the game. To add to my initial thoughts on the matter - Yes. I had some background in serious/competitive racing in the past, I stated my preferred stance on the matter, however, that does not mean that I look down upon the creators who submit simply fun jobs like stunt races which incorporate dozen of ramps / crossovers / loops / tubes / wall-rides, etc...; I don't take them as serious and just simply try to have fun whether it's in contact or non-contact. I don't discriminate and I'm open to all different viewpoints and ideas. Here's how I believe it should be done with every submission: Your Job. Your Rules.

Thanks VIII_Leo_IIIV for a great even last Friday, and for the work you did to put out individual videos for each of the submissions after. I had to leave early so it was great to see what I missed out on. Being in Australia, I can also get lagged out, and my thoughts on when that happens to me is for the group to keep going, and I will join to spectate (if possible) and catch the next one. Other real life events can crop up during an event, and I feel the same way - no one should have to wait while I take the dog out on a badly timed urgent toilet run which turns into a 10 minute sniff fest before settling on a spot I have managed to get a half day off on the event day until the end of the calendar year, so should be able to participate at least for the next couple months. My submissions for this coming Friday:

Thanks kangee! It was nice to read your thoughts on the matter. Especially on that 'tip', where if someone disconnects, I can just send a game invite, perhaps wait for a minute or two, and if that person doesn't seem to join - just start the job hoping that the certain participant would be able to re-join via the 'Spectating Method'. I included your jobs in the 'OP'.

I wish that regular participants would show more interest in this thread and left some feedback after every event, like what they liked/disliked or just leave some general suggestions or tips for the creator/host to improve on. Well, I think there's just not much to complain about. Announcement, format, execution and postprocessing/evaluation is perfect. Attendance could and should be better because of the quality of the events. And with 250+ GCCC PC members there should be more participants. Would be fun, GCCC jobs have a high quality in general and more participants would also mean more diversity. I'm still not shure about this, but maybe we should invite people from our friend lists to the events if the lobby isn't already full. And as much as I love racing, there also could be more LTSs and Captures in the play lists imho. I don't discriminate and I'm open to all different viewpoints and ideas. I didn't mean you Leo, I hope you know I wasn't suggesting that you discriminate stunt races or the creators of stunt races. I think you are a very open and well meaning guy and a far too good racer for me =) And you put a lot of work into this and are trying hard to support this crew (GCCC). It's like you said, people have different preferences and are enjoying the game in different ways. I like both, regular and stunt races. And in my opinion both can be equaly competitive. I like stunt races where you have to actually steer and learn how to take an obstacle properly, like you need to learn the track of a regular race to have a chance to win. This is both, competitive and fun to me.

I suppose, we can try inviting people from our friend' lists. Why not?Personally, In between jobs, I usually try holding the lobby for an about a minute, hoping that somebody would join/short break, by sending a phone invite to all friends/crew members. So, if you got some friends online, feel free to invite them. About the job' submissions diversity: In my case, I rarely get on to play GTA besides Fridays, except when I'm testing jobs, etc...; and by scheduling that dedicated time-frame set aside for gaming, I'm confident that I'll have fun by playing with you guys. I have nothing against other game modes, I think they can be quite fun at times, however, racing is my go-to, so don't really expect me to submit anything else since that's what I prefer to do on GTA these days anyways. So, If you prefer that there should be more variety or a certain job game mode/type you really like - just submit it to the event. Besides, since the latest content creator update, Stunt Racing jobs are currently most popular/trending anyway. And they will continue to be so popular until R* releases something new. Also teltow , thanks, tor sharing your point of view on regular and stunt races. I guess, you can try to have fun and be competitive while you're playing non-GP'd Stunt Races, while you look at it that way. I do admit that there are more variables in play that would benefit more experienced/skilled driver on these jobs. But in my view, I'm very sorry, but I don't take them as serious and just simply try to have fun. However, I acknowledge and respect every creator and the work that goes into creating these awesome stunt races, and for me to create something similar, it would probably take a month or so. LOL I just don't have that kind of time/patience.
This Fridays' playlist which will be held on November 11th at 4pm EST / 9pm GMT / 22:00 CET .
Feel free to submit a job and follow up on the rules and registration info in the opening post of this thread. Hope to see you there! Stay Malicious!

Congratulations for hosting Leo. Sorry again that I was a problem for the previous event. I will not participate. I do not want again for me to have disgruntled players. Maybe when I fix my problems, will join again. For now I will concentrate only on the completion of some of my jobs. I wish success to the event.

I may be a half hour late this Friday, work has an hour meeting scheduled starting 1/2 hour before the event. It may finish early or may go the whole hour. I work from home so there will not be much delay from when the meeting is over to when I get online.
Sorry about this.

If we do this right, you can participate as a spectator if you want. I believe that if you have the job left as open when set up, you can join after the job launches and before the race begins to spectacte, then leave at the voting screen and repeat for the next job. Then your network issues will not be a problem during the races, and you will be able to at least partially participate. It is up to you of course, but there are ways to work things out, not perfectly, but so everyone can enjoy.

Hey, guys! SACHMATA: First of all, you're awesome!!! Secondly, I just would like to say that, I believe that at this point in time it's widely acknowledged that you're 'one of the best' content creators in GTA on various platforms, and every time you show up at our events, we are very honored to have you among us. I'm not too certain about your history, but I think I've heard your name pop up, 'here and there', since the inception of GTA Content Creator. So, respect for that!! And to conclude, I just would like to say this - thank you for being continuously positive despite your tough circumstances. It's always very pleasant for me to read what you have to say, and It's sad to hear that you won't participate. Of course, I admit it's unfortunate you have connection/FPS issues, but there's not much I can do, as I said previously. If you wish, you can try spectating, like kangee suggested. Let's see how that works out. kangee: First of all, you're awesome too!!! Secondly, I just would like to let you know that, I'm aware that you're from Australia, and that especially for you to join this event you have to get up and be ready to join this weekly event at ridiculous times like 7/8am. Just the thought of somebody in this world doing something like this is pretty astonishing considering the fact that, among other things, you compromise your sleep schedule to join and come play with us. So, thank you for that and for continuously showing the positive attitude, engaging with other PC members of the creator community and always being proactive and supportive! I also would like to commend you on your ' DNF Driver Views' custom job video & text walkthrough series! For those, who haven't seen, it's worth checking out. And to conclude, thanks for notifying me about your meeting. I hope it goes well.

To conclude my thoughts on yesterday's event, I think that, overall it went OK. No major issues. Everybody seemed to have fun and enjoyed playing, which is great! One thing I would like to see improve is attendance. Throughout the event we had like 4 or 5 players. Whatever the case, I had fun and I'm positive that, as time will pass, that number will eventually grow. If anyone has any feedback to share, feel free to do so.
You can start submitting jobs for the next Fridays playlist which will be held on November 18th at 4pm EST / 9pm GMT / 22:00 CET
Thank you all for joining, and we hope to see you next Friday!
